Soli Deo Gloria Art

Soli Deo Gloria Art is my online store in Lincoln, blending original paintings, prints, and generosity.

"Life is this simple: we are living in a world that is absolutely transparent and the divine is shining through it all the time. This is not just a nice story or a fable, it is true."
Thomas Merton

Every purchase sends proceeds to the food pantry, turning wall art into daily, quiet generosity.

Color and movement meet, giving energy to your space while quietly helping stock shelves.

Golden fields, quiet gratitude, and a canvas that quietly remembers those still hungry.

Bring the harvest home gently, with an affordable print carrying the same heart.
I filled notebooks as a kid, copying comics and sketching everyday kitchen scenes, drawn to the simple act of putting pencil to paper.
That lifelong love of drawing eventually led me back to painting. Now I create original work inspired by the beauty, meaning, and everyday moments I notice around me. My brushstrokes circle around gratitude, daily bread, quiet hope, and beauty in ordinary moments, with each piece created to feel personal, inviting, and meaningful.

Morning Inspiration
When I go outside in the morning, I see the beautiful world of nature that God has put me in.
Beethoven walked every day. He lived what he advocated when he said,
“Go outside and relax your mind.”

Soli Deo Gloria
Soli Deo Gloria is Latin for “All Glory goes to God.”
J.S. Bach wrote SDG at the bottom of his music as an expression of his faith and dedication to God.
In my paintings, I express the miraculous world that God made for us to live in.

Meet Peter
I’m Peter, the artist behind Soli Deo Gloria Art.
My mother said she’d run out of paper trying to keep up with me and my crayons. Now, after a life of making music, I have returned to drawing. And more!
I create original paintings and prints inspired by the beauty, meaning, and everyday moments I notice around me. I enjoy making art that feels personal and inviting—something you can live with, enjoy, and return to over time.
Soli Deo Gloria Art also gives my artwork a purpose beyond the canvas. I’m using my art to support the Lincoln Food Pantry through St. Vincent de Paul, so that buying a painting or print can also help local families.
I paint. You buy. Food Pantry wins!
